He was born in Somerset, Kentucky on August 31, 1952, son of Evelyn McClure Hunley and the late Paul Hunley. He was a financial controller for Lifeline Home Health Care and owner/operator of Compucount Accounting and Tax Firm. Gary was a graduate of Eastern Kentucky University where he obtained his Bachelor's Degree. He was a member of Victory Christian Fellowship.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Flynn Hunley, whom he married on November 16, 1973, his mother, Evelyn Hunley of Somerset, one son, Derrick & (Kristy) Hunley of Somerset, one daughter, Alison Hunley of Somerset and two grandchildren, Madyson and Morgan Hunley.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM Friday, October 30, 2009 at Victory Christian Fellowship, 1156 Oak Hill Rd., Somerset, KY with Bro. Mark Harrell officiating.
Burial will be in Gibson Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Thursday at the church.
Donations may be made to Victory Christian Fellowship.
