Allen was employed by United Parcel Service in Louisville and was a member of St. James United Church of Christ in Louisville.
He is survived by children, Michelle Waible, Yvonne Ward, Ben Bredenkamp, Todd Bredenkamp, R. Scott Hubele and J. Todd Hubele; a brother, John Bredenkamp, Jr.; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sharon Jean (Moody) Bredenkamp; and his second wife, Kitty (Cissell) Bredenkamp.
Funeral service will be held at 9 a.m. CST, Wednesday, October 28, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home ~ East Chapel, 5330 Washington Avenue Evansville, with Lynn Martin and Larry Harwood officiating. Graveside Services will be in Louisville Memorial Gardens Cemetery at 2 p.m. EST Wednesday. Friends may call from 2-8 p.m. CST, Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Boone Funeral Home - East Chapel.
