Diana was born on April 11, 1962 in Carthage, Mo. the daughter of Norman and Jean (Bullis) Rumble. She has been an area resident for her entire life. Diana worked for Cardinal Scale as a parts clerk until 2004; she then owned and operated the Station Bar & Grill in Webb City, Mo. until 2006 when she went to work for LaBarge Inc. Diana is a Shriners’ and Elks Lodge Member’s wife, Webb City Lodge #861.
She married Ray Hataway on May 24, 1980 in Carterville, he survives. Additional survivors include two children; her daughter Misti Hataway and her son Kolby Hataway both of Carterville, her father, Norman, one sister, Norma McNary and her husband Chuck of Alba, Mo., two brothers, Darrel Rumble and his wife Carrie of Oronogo, Mo., James Rumble and his wife Evelyn also of Galena, Ks., four grandchildren, Averi, Riley, Landon and Brittany, her father-in-law, Don Hataway of Webb City, and brothers and sisters-in-law, Bob and Mariann Hataway of Oronogo, Steve and Karen Korn of Carthage and Dennis and Sharon Banning of Parsons, Ks. Diana was preceded in death by her mother and mother-in-law.
Funeral services have been scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Monday October 26th at the Mason-Woodard Chapel, Kevin Burns, Minister, will officiate. Burial will immediately follow at Webb City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon from 2 to 3 p.m. Contributions in memory of Diana may be made to the Christmas Fund of the Webb City Elk’s Lodge #861 or to Regional Hospice in care of Mason-Woodard.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Mason-Woodard Mortuary and Chapel.
