Cleone Ross Hagan

Cleone Ross Hagan, 98, of Paint Lick, widow of Garnett Collins Hagan, passed away Friday, October 23, 2009 at her home.

She was a native of Madison County, a homemaker, and a charter member of Paint Lick Christian Church.

Cleone is survived by one son M.C.(Ellen) Hagan of Paint Lick, KY; two daughters, Coy (Tom) Burnam of Paint Lick, KY, and Lynn (Milt) Ward of Richmond, KY; one brother, Lewis “Jake” Ross of Paint Lick, KY; four grandchildren, Coy Weldon, Lee Ward Estes, Denise R. Hagan, David R. Hagan; three great grandchildren, Jamie Samuelson, Brandi Ramey, Will Hagan and eight great great grandchildren. She is also survived by a special friend, Arzelia Rogers, who is 100 years old, and her faithful companion, her dog, Honey.

Other than her husband Garnett, she is preceded in death by her parents, William and Mary Hayes Ross and one great grandson, Brad Owens.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Monday October 26, 2009 at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home with Rev. Ted Faulconer officiating. Burial will follow in the Manse Cemetery in Paint Lick. Pallbearers will be Zac Ramey, Austin Ramey, Justin Ramey, Paul Henderson, Bobby Henderson, David Hagan and Mike Hawley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Ronald Rogers, William Hagan, Frank Hall and her caregivers Cathy Gadd, Barbara Isaacs, Debbie Parker and Katie Rawlins.

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. Sunday October 25, 2009 at the Oldham, Roberts & Powell Funeral Home

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Hospice Care Plus, 208 Kidd Dr. Berea, KY 40403, Paint Lick Christian Church or to the Manse Cemetery.
