Mrs. Willie Idella Oglesby Ainsworth, age 79, of Columbus, MS, died October 22, 2009, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be Sunday, October 25, 2009, at 3:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Sammy Crawford officiating. The interment will immediately follow at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation was held Saturday, October 24, 2009, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Memorial Funeral Home. Mrs. Ainsworth was born August 13, 1930, in McShan, AL to the late Thomas Massey and Lillie Robinson Oglesby. She was a charter member of Fairview Baptist Church and a current member of the Ackerman Baptist Church. Mrs. Ainsworth loved to travel and square dance. Survivors include her husband, Billy J. Ainsworth of Columbus, MS, sons, Terry Atkinson (Sandy) of Tupelo, MS, Ray Atkinson of Columbus, MS, Steve Atkinson (Jeff) of Mequon, WI, and Robert Ainsworth of Jayess, MS, daughters, Julie Young (Jim) of Baltimore, MD, and Teresa Smith (Michael) of Hattiesburg, MS, brothers, Winston Oglesby of Columbus, MS, Louie Oglesby of Carson, CA, and Marvin Oglesby (Judy) of Brandon, MS, 11 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Josh Williams, Austin Smith, Bob Beatty, Jay Oglesby, Bo Oglesby, and Tommy Jones.
