The son of Frank and Lura Dill Philamlee, he was born March 11, 1925 in Ida, AR. He attended Maple Springs Freewill Baptist. He enjoyed hunting and training dogs. He was preceded in death by his wife Eula Jewell Philamlee and his parents. Survivors include; two sons, David Philamlee and wife Debbie of Pottsville Noel Sartain and wife Mima Jean of Drasco; four granddaughters, Jennifer Tybuec and husband Mark of Russellville, Michelle Tankersley husband Ray of Atkins, Jennifer Vinson husband David of Drasco, Delina Lawrence husband Travis of Tumbling Shoals; one grandson, Trent Philamlee and wife Rosie of Clarksville; ten great grandchildren; one sister, Edith Peikert of Rose Bud; one brother, James Philamlee of Mississippi; and a dear friend, True Fitch of Centerville. Funeral will be at 2:00PM, Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Pleasant Ridge General Baptist Church. Rev. David Downum will officiate.
