Charles Ray Turner (Deadeye) 76, years of age passed away on Thursday, October 22, 2009 in Fort Smith. He was born October 29, 1932. He was a retired supervisor for Southern Steel and Wire and a member of Fraternal order of Eagles Aerie 208. He is survived by one son; Charles Mikel and wife Dana of Charleston; four daughters; Amanda Turner of Fort Smith, Melissa Turner -Chong of Deerfield Beach, FL, Sherry Carter and husband Ricky of Waldron and Paula Lollis of Fort Smith; nine grandchildren; four sisters; Doris McManus of Manhattan Kansas, Frances Williams and husband Hershel of Van Buren, Virginia Dalton of Fort Smith and Clara and husband Luther Mongold of Natural Dam; two sisters in law; Betty Turner of Van Buren and Sue Turner of Sallisaw; and an Army of nieces and nephews. Lifelong loyal friend J.R. Hesslen and Jenny of Fort Smith. The many friends and management at Midtown Apts and Nutrition Center. Survived also by his caretaker Toddy. Graveside service will be held Monday, October 26, 2009 3:00 p.m. at Macedonia Cemetery, Uniontown, AR Viewing will begin Sunday at 9:00 a.m.. The family will receive friends Sunday 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Lewis Funeral Chapel
