Jessie  Williams

Jessie Williams, 95, of Roland, Oklahoma went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 in Fort Smith. He was born November 17, 1913 the son of the late Frank and Ella Wiliams. He was a church of Christ minister for over 70 years. He was the widower of the late Marie Hyatt (Williams) and he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters; Martha Catherine Johnson, Mary Jane Armer, Thomas Madison Williams and James Franklin Williams; sons; Willis Franklin Williams and Jessie David Williams. He was survived by four daughters; Mary Spradley and husband Bill of Fort Smith, Nina Elkins and husband Carl of Roland, Sharon Dillard and husband Daniel of Anderson, MO and Patricia Crossno and husband Sam; son; Gene Williams and wife Linda of Tulsa, Oklahoma; brother; T.M. Williams of Portola, CA.; twenty eight grandchildren; forty one great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren and two great great great grandchildren. Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Roland Church of Christ with interment at Roland City Cemetery officiated by Albert Armer. Pallbearers will be Daniel Dillard, Ronnie Furman, Terry Elkins, Joe and Tim Crossno, Jason Davis, J.R. Spradley and Mark Dillard. Viewing will begin 9:00 a.m. Friday with viewing Saturday 12:30 p.m. until 1:55 p.m. at the church. Memorials may be sent to Peachtree Hospice 4300 Rogers Avenue Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
