Godiva “Deva” Lynn (Fitzgerald) Taylor, 50, wife of James Taylor, of Cross Junction, died October 21, 2009 at the home of her sister in Mt. Sidney.
She was born December 12, 1958 in Augusta County, a daughter of Elmer Fitzgerald of Michigan and Gloria (Fitzgerald) Gibson of Greenville.
Mrs. Taylor was employed as a truck driver.
She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Waynesboro.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include four brothers, Eddie Fitzgerald of Fishersville, Elmer Fitzgerald, Jr., of Waynesboro, Jack and Thomas Fitzgerald, both of Greenville; and a sister and brother-in-law, Eskie and George Marvec of Mt. Sidney.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, October 23, 2009, in the Henry Funeral Home by the Rev. Dennis Bradley and Elder Will John. Burial will follow in Augusta Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 p.m. Thursday, October 22, 2009, in the funeral home.
