June worked as a nurse for 20 years. She is survived by her son, John Ward; her daughters, Janice Kacpura and Judith Calleja; grandsons, Timothy Calleja, Jeremy Ward, Aaron Ward and Adam Ward; and great-grandchildren, Aiden and Amy Ward and Benjamin Calleja. She was preceded in death by her husband of 45 years, Thomas Ward; her daughters, Jill Ward and Joan Story; and her son, Jeffrey Ward. Visitation will be held from 3-7 p.m. on Thursday, October 22, 2009 at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., in Wheaton, IL where funeral services follow at 7:00 p.m. with Judy Walter, Chaplain of the Visiting Nurses Association Hospice officiating. Interment will be private at Roseland Cemetery in Berkeley, MI.
