Her funeral will be held on Friday, October 23, 2009 at 10:30 am at Graymont Baptist church with Rev. Patrick Embley officiating. Burial will be in Rowe Cemetery, rural Pontiac. Friends may call on Thursday evening from 5:00-7:00 at Martin-Burke Funeral Home, Pontiac. Memorials in Judy’s name may be made to Graymont Baptist Church or American Diabetes Association.
Judy was born on October 26, 1942 at Pontiac, Il., a daughter of Oscar and Marie (Mitchell) Koltveit. Survivors include her mother: Marie Koltveit-rural Pontiac. 3 Brothers: James (Ruth Ann) Koltveit-Lees Summit, Mo., John (Norma) Koltveit-rural Pontiac, IL. and David (Tammi) Koltveit-Pittsfield, Il. 1 Sister: Ann (Bill) Smith-Champaign, IL. and 12 nieces & nephews. Judy was preceded in death by her Father: Oscar Koltveit.
Judy was educated at Graymont Grade School and a graduate of Pontiac Township high School. Judy was a member of the Graymont Baptist Church-Graymont, IL. She was a secretary and a waitress. Judy loved playing the piano, playing Scrabble and was a devoted Elvis fan.
