CHICOPEE – Roger B. Mason, 66, died October 17, 2009 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield to the late Paul R. Mason, former president of the Springfield City Council, and Ola (Anderson) Mason, he was a lifelong area resident. Roger served in the Army during the Vietnam War. He had been employed as a quality control supervisor for Hasbro. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Paul Mason, Jr. and Keith Mason. He leaves his wife, Brigitte (Riehl) Mason of Chicopee; a son, Kevin Mason of Chicopee; a daughter, Georgianna Mason of Springfield; four grandchildren: Ashia, Adrina, Elise and Kevin, Jr. and a great-grandchild, Jaylese.
