PLAISANCE - Funeral services for Ms. Geraldine Miller Soileau, 60, will be held Tuesday morning in the LaVille Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the St. Andrew Cemetery. Ms. Soileau a resident of Plaisance passed away 8:30AM October 18, 2009 in Lafayette. She will be very sadly missed by her husband Orise J. Soileau Jr. of Plaisance; parents Lloyd and Hilda Faul Miller of Lawtell; sons Patrick Soileau of Plaisance; Joey Soileau of Plaisance; daughters Sandy West of Chicot; Danielle Mays of St. Landry; brothers Lloyd Miller of Port Barre; Darrell Miller of Leonville; Rodney Miller of Lawtell; sisters Earline Miller of Lafayette; Ella Mae Soileau of Ville Platte; Anna Lee Cormier of Plaisance; 13 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Visitation will be held October 19, 2009 from 1:30PM-10PM with a rosary being recited at 6:30PM, and will resume again October 20, 2009 at 8AM until the time of services.
