Anne was born in Madison County on April 20, 1934, to Robert L. and Leola (Baber) Bush, both of whom preceded her in death. She was an active member of Red House Baptist Church and her Fellowship Sunday School Class, which she loved greatly.
Anne was a homemaker who was devoted to her family and enjoyed traveling to and taking part in her grandchildren’s activities. In addition to her family and her church family, Anne was a part of a special group, known as “the Golden Girls”, made up of life-long friends, which she loved and enjoyed.
In addition to her loving husband, of 44 years, Don, she is survived by two sons, Steve Tribble (Karen) and Tommy Tribble (Peggy) of Richmond; two daughters, Tanda Perkins and Lee Anne Browder (Scott) of Richmond; one sister, Adelyn Trammell (Morris) of Lexington and her grandchildren, April Wilkerson (John), Erica Perkins, Sky Cunningham (John), Shay Tribble, Haley Tribble, Lindsey Edwards, Emily Horn (Shane), Christopher Browder and Cameron Browder, and her great-grandsons, Gavin and Levi Wilkerson.
Besides her parents, Anne was also preceded in death by one son, Bobby Ray Tribble and one brother, Bobby Joe Bush.
Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, October 17, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, with Bro. Butch Tanner and Bro. William Smith officiating. Burial will follow at the Richmond Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 – 9 p.m. on Friday at First Baptist Church on the Eastern Bypass.
Pallbearers will be John Cunningham, John Wilkerson, David Smith, Curtis Cruse, Lester, Vernon, Roy, and James Richardson, and Darrell Tate. Honorary bearers will be Mary Weitcamp, Virginia Tate, Kay Smith, Norma Cosby, Barbara Story, Nancy Gross, Bonnie Russell, Audrey Tracy, Jane Fritz and Ruby Hamilton.
