Lowell Baker age 74 of Pekin, Indiana passed away Wednesday October 14, 2009 at 7:30 am at the waters of Salem. He was born on May 18, 1935, he was the son of the late Dannie Baker and Alberta (Coats) Baker. He married Leona (Leach) Baker on November 20, 1954. She survives. Other survivors include: 2 daughters: Linda Marion of Salem and Connie Carmichael of Seymour. 3 Brothers: Lynn Baker of Pekin, Dale Baker of Pekin, and Bernard Baker of FL. 4 Sisters: Marlene Burton of Pekin, Velma Brown of Pekin, Wanda Davis of Pekin, and Joyce Engle of Salem. 3 Grandchildren, 1 Great Grandchild. Preceded in death by Parents, 1 Daughter, 1 Brother. The funeral service will be at 1:00 pm Friday at the Hughes-Taylor Funeral Home in Salem. Viewing will be from 11:00 am Friday until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be at Olive Branch Cemetery. Rev. Dennis Allman will officiate.
