South Bend – John V. Paszli, 79, passed away at 10:00am on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 in Memorial Hospital.
John was born on December 3, 1929 in South Bend, to the late Geza and Katherine (Varro) Paszli. John was also preceded in death by a son, Russell Allen Paszli on January 20, 1981; brothers, Geza and Louie Paszli; and sister, Julie Steneck.
On January 24, 1959 in Lakeville, IN, John married Connie (Six). She survives along with daughter, Gay Lynne (Bela, Jr.) Bán of South Bend; son, John (Marie) Paszli of Mentone, IN; sisters Mary (Vandusen) Bergman of Phoenix, AZ, and Katherine Kenna of South Bend.
He worked as a machinist/assembler at Bendix/Honeywell for 30 years before retiring in 1982. Memories of him fishing, flying, and hunting and everything about him will forever live in our hearts. John was a man who enjoyed life, loved and cherished his family.
There will be no services. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, South Bend. ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME 824 S. Mayflower Road is assisting the family.
