Services were held at 11:00 AM Friday October 16, 2009 at Shiloh Lutheran Church in Elmore, MN With Pastor Robert Roettger. Burial followed at Riverview Cemetery in Elmore, MN.
Friends and Family attended her Visitation on Thursday October 15, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Winter Funeral Home, 105 South Grove Street, Blue Earth, MN and also one hour before the service at the church in Elmore.

Ivah Geneva Erickson was born October 13, 1920, to the proud parents of Oscar and Annie (Hendrickson) Thompson. They lived outside of Elmore.
On October 20, 1938, she was united in marriage to Clarence Oliver Erickson. Together they farmed throughout southern Minnesota. They moved to Elmore in 1950 where they owned the Mobil Gas Station. Ivah worked at St. Luke’s in the laundry department for several years. She also served as bailiff for Faribault County.
Surrounded by her family, Ivah quietly passed away on Monday October 12, 2009 at her home.
Cherishing her memory are her daughters: Gwen Stanley of East Chain; Patti Nelson and husband Tom of Woodbury; and Nancy Ziegler of Elmore; her son Lonnie Erickson and special friend Cathy of Elmore; 2 sisters: MaDonna Gjerde and husband Maynard of Elmore; and Murtis Johnson of Blue Earth; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and many many dear friends.
Ivah is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, 4 brothers, and 3 sisters
