Lyman, SC passed away on Sunday, Oct. 11 in Union County, SC. He was born in New Bern, NC on Nov.16, 1946, the son of the late James Earl and Jenna Mae McRae Silverthorne and was the husband on Gloria Marie Bourgeois Silverthorne. He is also survived by 2 step-daughters, Frances Seay of Roebuck, Judy Hill of Russellville, Ark., 2 step-sons, Ed Foster of Ponchatoula, and Danny Foster of Harrison, Ark.; 12 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. He was the owner/operator of Southern Bow Hunter, was of the Baptist Faith and was a US Navy Viet Nam veteran.Visitation will be on Friday, Oct. 16 from 6 until 9 pm at Geisler Funeral Home in Ponchatoula and on Saturday after 8:30 am until the service at 10 am. Interment will follow in Loranger Community Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, 3300 East Sunrise Drive, Tucson, AZ 85718
