Kerry worked for Medtronic for 18 years. He graduated from Plymouth HS in 1975, attended Purdue and graduated from Indiana University. Kerry excelled at high school sports, in both baseball and basketball. He loved golfing and was a big Notre Dame fan. He loved animals, especially his dog, ‘Irish.’
Survivors include wife Jacqui Weidner of Milford. 2 sons Joshua Weidner and Jordan Weidner, both at IU Bloomington, 1 daughter, Alyssa Weidner at home, 1 step-son Fred Hoyle and 1 step-daughter Emma Hoyle, both of Milford, 2 brothers Kevin (Carolyn) Weidner of Glendale, AZ, Keith (Jill) Weidner of South Bend, 4 sisters Karen Prebys of Greenwood, Kathy (Kenny) Thomas of Chesapeake, VA, Karol Weidner of Chesapeake, VA, Karla (Fred) Malecki of Granger, Father Earl Weidner of Plymouth. Preceded in death by: his mother.
Services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2009 at 7 PM at Mishler-Eastlund Funeral Home in Milford. Pastor Josh Weiland will officiate. Friends may call from 4 PM until the time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
