He was born in Louisville, Kentucky on October 16, 1928, son of the late Lonnie and Inez Tilley Dick. He was a truck driver.
He is survived by three sons, Ralph J. Dick Jr. of Somerset and Donald Dick and Ronnie Dick, both of Newport, KY, six daughters, Donna Roberts and Deborah & (Timothy) Blevins, both of Eubank, Nancy Garlene & (Darrell) Adams and Matrie & (Tim) Isaac, both of Hamilton, OH and Margaret Dick and Carol Dick, both of Newport, KY, one brother, Robert Dick of Bethelridge, ten grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Laura Alice Dick, who died on April 23, 2008, his parents, one brother, Roy Dick and one sister, Rosmary Chillura.
A funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 13, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at the funeral home.
Morris & Hislope Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
