A memorial service for, Marshall Irvin Field, 72, of Pioneer, California, will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2009, 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Chapel in Pine Grove, California. Marshall passed away on October 6, 2009 at Mercy General Hospital in Sacramento, California. He was born on August 11, 1937 in Stockton, California to Clarence Marshall Field and Amy Frances McClain-Field. Marshall attended schools in both Stockton and Lodi. On October 9, 1954 he married Mary Marlon Meeks in Virginia City, Nevada. Marshall enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1956 and served for two years. He worked for twenty years at PDM Steel Manufacturing in Stockton and was a lifetime member of the N.R.A. Marshall is survived by his wife, Mary Field; two sons, Gary Field of Los Molinos, California and Timothy Field of Shasta Lake, California; two sisters, Nancy McGehee and Edith Patton both of Lodi, California; four grandchildren, Shonda Haglan, Marshall Field, Alisha McKinney and Ryan Field; and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, George and Chuck Lundsford; and by his son, Jeffery Field. Marshall will be laid to rest at Los Molinos Cemetery in Los Molinos, California.
