Daphne L. Hansen age 81 of New Lisbon died on Wednesday Oct. 7, 2009 at Hess Memorial Hospital in Mauston. She was the daughter of Harry and Effie (Carawan) Guynn and was born July 20, 1928 in Great Bridge, VA. Daphne grew up in Virginia, and was united in marriage to Rudolph Hansen on Oct. 5, 1956 in Norfolk, VA. After their marriage they moved to Chicago and Des Plaines, IL for 33 years, and moving to Florida in 1989, and to Poplar Grove, IL in 2005, and after her husbands death moving to New Lisbon in 2006. Daphne was a Sunshine Lady in Florida, she loved to play pinochle, and to crochet, do puzzles, and games, but most of all she was a great mother. She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (James) Pemberton of New Lisbon, her grandchildren, Crystal, Jimmy, Stephanie L, and William, 2 nieces, Alice (Aubrey) Woodley of Virginia Beach, VA, and Caroline (Jim) Hudgins of Chesapeake, VA, other relatives and friends.
