MT. HOREB – Dorothy Ann (Monroe) Becker, age 75 of Mt. Horeb, died on Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009 after a short stay at the Don & Marilyn Anderson HospiceCare Center in Fitchburg. She was born May 23, 1934 in Fennimore, the daughter of Henry and Marie Monroe. Dorothy is survived by her three children, Diane (Martin) Bojorquez, Costa Mesa, CA, Curtis Becker, of Sealy, TX, and Alan Becker, of San Antonio; a grandson, Ezra Becker, of Houston; three brothers, Vern Monroe, of Cincinatti, Hilton Monroe, of Camanche, IA, and Floyd Monroe, of Fennimore; a sister, Elaine (Eldon) Leff, of Canon City, CO; and several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard “Dick” Becker, originally from Stitzer. Memorial services will be held at the KINGDOM HALL OF JEHOVAH’S WITNESSES, 8905 Ridgeview Rd., Mt. Horeb, on Sunday, Oct. 11, 2009 at 3 p.m. with a time for fellowship to follow.
