She was a native of Manistee, AL and had resided in Frisco City for most of her life before moving to Montgomery. She was a member of the Frisco City First Baptist Church and had been a homemaker. Mrs. Hayles is survived by two sons: Marion Hayles, Brookhaven, MS and Jasper Hayles, Jonesboro, AR; two daughters: Bernice Berry, Plano, TX and Ruth Hines, Montgomery, AL; six grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and four great great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, October 8, 2009 from 9 to 10 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 AM in the chapel with Rev. Mark McCullough officiating.
