She was born in Eubank, Kentucky on April 30, 1912, daughter of the late Willie Wall and Pearlie Surber Wall. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of Etna Church of Christ.
She is survived by one sister, Dessie Hampton of Independence, KY, sisters-in-law, Iva Mae Wall and Helen Wall, both of Indiana and Susanna Wall of Eubank and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmitt Chaney, whom she married on September 12, 1934 and who died on December 11, 1987, her parents and eight brothers, Dee Ray, Herbert, Edward, Herman, Henderson, Russell, Bill and George Wall.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Tuesday, October 6, 2009 at Morris & Hislope Funeral Home with Bro. Thad Eubank officiating.
Burial in the Etna Cemetery.
Visitation will be after 6 PM Monday at the funeral home.
