Ursula P. Smith, 93, went to heaven on Thursday, October 1, 2009 at Woodstock Health Care Center.

She was born on June 16, 1916 to the late James and Mary (Kelly) Luce. Ursula was educated at St. James Catholic Elementary School in Kenosha and graduated from St. Catherine’s High School Racine. She also attended the Kenosha Chamber of Commerce Business School.

She was employed at the Kenosha Elks Club before uniting in marriage to Merlyn Smith where she farmed side by side with him. He preceded her in death in 1992.

She will be greatly missed by her two daughters, Sara (Peter) Keen of Racine and Thora (Mark) Paulin of Arizona, her three grandsons Matthew Keen, Nicholas (Courtney) Keen and Jacob Keen all of Racine and her granddaughter Bray Paulin of Georgia.

A sincere Thank You for the loving care of all the nurses, CNA’s and staff at the Woodstock Health Care Center.

Thank You to Dr. Rade Milosevic and his staff for the many years of compassionate care.

Funeral Services for Ursula will be held on Monday, October 5th at 11:00 a.m. at the Bruch Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Sunday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and again on Monday morning from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
