Jamie Jo Clavette, age 47 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 13, 2009 in the town of Poygan.  Jamie was brought to this earth on July 23, 1962 by her parents, James Jerome and Ginger Mae Clavette.  She was raised in Poygan and has since resided in Eureka, Oshkosh, Berlin, and various cities in Texas before settling back in Poygan, just a few miles from where she grew up.

She worked as a waitress most of her life until she got the chance to retire at age 45.  She has since pursued her passion for gardening, transforming even the dullest flower into a magnificent work of art.

Jamie was a strong, independent woman who endured many hardships during her life.  She was a fighter, a survivor who never backed down from an obstacle: teaching all who knew her to never give up hope.  Despite everything she has been through, she was a loving, free spirited woman with a kind hearted soul, always doing everything in her power to help someone in need, even a complete stranger.

She will be remembered by her family whom she held very dear to her heart.  They include: her children: Tamara (Brandon Chapin) Clavette, Richard (Brandi Blessent) Plant, Ashley Jo Plant, Amanda Perry, and Brandy (Keith) Huhman; her grandchildren: Taylor Wurn, James Jerome Clavette II, Jadlyn Blessent, Everix Blessent, Kylia Huhman, Gage Huhman, Chance Huhman, and James Perry; her siblings: Harlen (Therese) Rosin, Kelly Clavette, and Christine (Jamie) Davis; nieces and nephews: Dana, Amanda, and Brandon Johannes, Brandi Rosenthal, Arryn Hunter, Sally Rosin, and Alex and Nicky Davis.  She is also survived by her cousin and dear friend Audrey Kifer, many great nieces and nephews, and all the friends she made through out her life.

A memorial service will be held in her honor at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, September 18, 2009, at Seefeld Family of Funeral Chapels, 1025 Oregon Street.  All are welcome to come and help celebrate her life and share support at the funeral chapel on Friday from 12 Noon until the time of the service.  Burial will take place in Lake View Memorial Park.  Please visit www.seefeldfuneral.com to send online condolences to the family.  A memorial is being established.
