VILLE PLATTE - Funeral services for Ms. Marie "Loycie" Bolfa, 88, will be held 1PM Thursday September 17, 2009 at Our Lady Queen of All Saints Church in Ville Platte with burial to follow in the St. Peter's Cemetery in Grand Prairie. Father Mario Romero will officiate. Ms. Bolfa a resident of Ville Platte passed away Tuesday September 15, 2009 at her residence at Heritage Manor Nursing Home. She will be very greatly missed by her sons Joseph Delta Bolfa of Ville Platte; Joseph Rodney Bolfa of Ville Platte; Joseph Kenneth Bolfa of Ville Platte; daughters Ellen Jane Allen of VIlle Platte; Anna Laura Bolfa Roberie of Ville Platte; brother Clarence Guillory of Ville Platte; sister Leza Foret of Ville Platte; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents Ducoudray and Zelima Dupre Guillory. Visitation will be held Wednesday September 16, 2009 from 1PM-10PM with a rosary being recited at 5PM, and will resume again from 8AM Thursday September 17, 2009 until the time of services.
