
Andrew "Red" Cox age 88 of Dyersburg U.S. Navy WWII veteran died Monday, September 14, 2009 at Oakwood Manor. He was Steward's Mate 1st Class he received a Honorable discharge, Victory Medal, American Theatere Medal and Asistic-Pacific Medal Cosmopolitan Funeral Services is in charge. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 22, 2009 2:00p.m at Salter's Chapel AME Church with Rev. Johnny Jones officating. Visitation will be 12:Noon until time of service at the church. Burial will be held in the M.C.C.O. Cemetery, Newbern, TN. Survivors: (4)Daughters, Betty Boxley, Frankie Renay Cox, Dyersburg, TN Bobbie Cox (Richard) Henderson, Harford,CT.
