MRS. HALLIE MAE CURRIE ENOCH BURLINGTON- Mrs. Hallie Mae Currie Enoch, 82, of 1609 Morningside Drive Apt F, passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2014 at Hospice of Alamance.
Hallie Mae Currie Enoch was born October 30, 1931 in Burlington, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Rev. Florence Currie and the late Myrtle Eva Vaughn Currie. She was the wife of the late Willie Frank Enoch, Jr. On August 27, 2014, while surrounded by her family, she exchanged her earthly life for life eternal.
Hallie Mae received her education in Burlington, NC. She was a life-long member of Jeffries Cross Baptist Church, where she served as a Missionary. She loved cooking, traveling, going to church and visiting the sick. She always had a beautiful smile, and she will be missed by all.
Hallie Mae leaves to cherish her memory are her four daughters, Brenda Faye Enoch Gwynn, Debra Enoch Gant, Vicky Enoch Burnette (Roy) and Melissa Ann Enoch Moore, all of Burlington; one brother, William Edward Currie (Charlena) of Glen Raven; twelve grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
Her funeral service will be held at Jeffries Cross Baptist Church, Sunday, August 31, 2014 at 3:30pm. Burial will follow in Union Chapel UCC Cemetery next to her husband.
The family will receive friends thirty minutes prior to the funeral service at the church and all other times at 305 N. Logan Street.
Public viewing will be held on Sat., Aug. 30, 2014 from 1-8:00pm at the funeral home.
