Nancy A. Jagielski, on August 21, 2014. Age 52.
Beloved daughter of Walter Jagielski and the late Kathleen Jagielski (nee Hudson). Nancy was born and raised in Brooklawn, NJ and then resided in Somerdale, NJ. Dear sister of Joseph, Matthew and his wife Kristina and the late Walter. Also survived by her nieces Amanda, Ariel and Lacey, her nephews Matthew, Walter, Kyle and Aaron and a multitude of family and friends.
Nancy worked for many years at Rohm and Haas in Philadelphia before becoming a school teacher. She taught at the Brooklawn Elementary School and in the Pennsauken School District. Nancy graduated from Gloucester City High School and received her teaching degree from Glassboro State College. She went on to earn a Master’s Degree at Mary Grove College in Detroit, MI. Nancy was a recipient of many awards throughout her short lifetime.
Some of the awards she was most proud of were her Act of Kindness Award from the Gloucester City News and the Most Outstanding Teacher selected by the Philadelphia Inquirer and the Philadelphia Phillies. Some of Nancy’s greatest joys were the students she taught through the years, her love of the Wildwoods, especially the time she spent there with her mother and grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all the hearts she touched.
There will be a viewing from 9am to 12 noon Monday at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.
Funeral Service 12 noon at the funeral home.
Interment Lakeview Memorial Park, Cinnaminson.
