Jennie L. Hoover, 84, of Green River, Wyoming passed away on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the Castle Rock Convalescent Center in Green River, Wyoming.
She was born on November 11, 1929 in Rock Springs, Wyoming, the daughter of the late Mike and Jennie Popp.
Mrs. Hoover attended schools in Rock Springs and was a 1947 graduate of the Rock Springs High School.
She married Warren G. Hoover in Rock Springs on September 5, 1949 and he preceded her in death on April 11, 2001.
Mrs. Hoover was employed by the Clerk of District Court Workman’s Compensation Division for many years and retired in 1989.
She was a member of the St. John’s Episcopal Church and VFW Auxillary.
Her interests included spending time with her family, fishing, and bowling.
Survivors include her son Scott Hoover and wife Angela of Green River, Wyoming; one daughter Jill Morales; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents; one brother; two grandsons; one granddaughter and one great-grandson.
Following cremation, a celebration of life will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the Vase Flaming Gorge Chapel, 263 East Flaming Gorge Way, Green River, Wyoming. Graveside Services and Interment will be in the Riverview Cemetery. Friends may call at the Vase Chapel on Thursday, one hour prior to services.
