Terry went home to be with his Savior and loved ones on August 9, 2014. He passed away peacefully at Covenant Hospice of Pensacola, Florida. He was 91 years old. He proudly served our country in WWII with the United States Army in Germany and France. He was a member of Gulf Coast Baptist Church. Terry was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He always had a kind and encouraging word for all he met. He will be greatly missed. Terry was born in Bassett, Virginia to Trudie and Terry Frank Grogan, Sr. on June 16, 1923. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters; two brothers; a son; a daughter, and a great-grandson.
Left to cherish Terry’s memory are his beloved wife Betty; a son, Frank Grogan (Anita); a daughter, Jenny Nott (Brian); five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, and many special nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 at Pensacola Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Reverend Brian Nott and Reverend Dennis Daniel officiating.
Interment will follow at Pensacola Memorial Gardens.
The family would like to express their appreciation to all the medical professionals, Covenant Hospice and the Specialty Center of Pensacola staff for all the loving care they provided.
A very special thank you to his caregivers, Tina Butler and Donna Young for the love and kindness they showed terry in his final weeks.
