LuCretta Ann (Bosworth) White, 69 years of age of Longview, Washington passed away on August 1, 2014 at the Hospice Care Center. Memorial services will be held on Friday, August, 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Jones & Casey Funeral Home in Salmon, Idaho.
She was born on November 12, 1944 in Salmon, Idaho the daughter of Paul and Juanita Bosworth, and moved to Longview, Washington 46 years ago.
LuCretta worked in the hay fields in Burley, Idaho and the potato fields near Salmon. She married Alvin White on April 1, 1963 and became a homemaker. LuCretta was a member of the citizen’ band radio clubs, including the Washington Night Owls, the Rebels and the Knockers Up Club. She enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. She particularly enjoyed yearly visits to family in Idaho and bowling at Foxx Bowl. LuCretta was happy-go-lucky—until you crossed her, then she let you have it with both barrels.
She is survived by her husband Alvin White of Longview, Washington; Seth White of Longview and LuCretta White of Port Orchard, Washington; a sister Cara Frame of Fruitland Park, Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.
LuCretta was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers: Paul Jr., Buck and Charles Bosworth; a sister Janice Grieg and niece Anna New.
