William Falone, 80, a resident of Natick, died Friday, August 1, 2014 at the Mary Ann Morse Nursing Home in Natick.
He was the husband of Helen (Sheehy) Falone of Natick.
Born in Natick, he was the son of the late Donato and Josephine (D’Andrea) Falone.
A member of the Framingham class of 1951, Mr. Falone was the owner of a plastering company in Natick for many years. He also worked for Carby’s Lumber in Framingham where he retired.
He was a member of the Marquis Club, was an avid baseball fan and coached little league for many years. He loved traveling with his wife, and fishing with his brothers. His passion was having the family together and cooking for them.
Besides his wife Helen, he is survived by three sons, William “Butch” Falone, Jr. and his wife Ellen of Milford, John “Jack” McNeil of Framingham, Edward “Eddie” McNeil, Jr., of Denver, CO; six grandchildren, Alexandra and Joseph Falone, Heather Boleyn, Alexander, John and Jesse McNeil; two great-grandchildren, Brandon and Brody Boleyn. He is also survived by his siblings Veronica Carbone and her husband Peter, Frederick Falone and his wife Marjorie and many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral Mass on Thursday, August 7 at 10 AM in St. Linus Church, 119 Hartford St., Natick. Burial will follow at St. Stephen Cemetery, Framingham.
Visiting hours at the Norton Funeral Home, 53 Beech St. (corner of Union Ave.) Framingham will be Wednesday from 5 – 8 PM.
