Bell, Donald R.

Age 58, of Woodbury

Born in St.Thomas, Ontario, Canada, on October 3, 1955, to Robert and Lillian Bell. Donald passed away at his home surrounded by his family on July 27, 2014, after a long courageous battle with cancer. Preceded in death by grandparents, Beatrice and Horace Bell, Fred and Edna Neave. Survived by loving wife, Cindy; children, Shannon Bell (Kedar Kamalapurkar), Bobby (Selina Longstrom); step-daughter, Kristen Moncrief (Tim Boldt); grandchild, Olivia Rose Bell; sister, Karen Van Den Broek (Bud Parkin), and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Donald retired from 3M after 34 years of service, as an accomplished global businessman with service in Canada, South Korea, U.S., and other countries. Dedicated to family and science while living life to the fullest. Funeral service 2 PM, Friday, August 1, 2014, at Resurrection Lutheran Church (9925 Bailey Rd, Woodbury). Visitation from 4-8PM, Thursday, July 31, at O’Halloran and Murphy Woodbury Cremation and Funeral Service (8700 Valley Creek Rd, 1 blk east of Radio Drive, next to Walgreens, 651-702-0301), and 1 hour prior to start of service at church Friday. Private interment Roselawn Cemetery. Memorials preferred to Education Opportunities Fund-Science Museum of Minnesota and Colon Cancer Alliance.
