Helen Kantorczyk Shulock, 92, formerly of Jeannette, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014, in The Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Greater Pittsburgh, Greensburg. She was born May 20, 1922, in Port Vue, a daughter of the late Martin J. and Helen M. Kuzio Kantorczyk. She was a member of Sacred Heart Church. Helen was a volunteer for many years at the former Jeannette Hospital and loved gardening. In addition to her parents, Helen was predeceased by her husband, Charles; brothers, Joseph, Martin, Edwin, Chester and Ernest Kantorczyk; and sisters, Dorothy Jackson, Eleanor Simurda, Irene, Cecilia and Beatrice Kantorczyk. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Siverd and her husband, Robert, of Cincinnati, Ohio, Charles Shulock Jr. and his wife, Nancy, of Sacramento, Calif., and Eileen Dunleavy and her husband, Brian, of New York City, N.Y.; grandchildren, Robert Siverd Jr., Veronica Siverd, Anne Shulock and Ellen Caro; siblings, Jerome and Agnes Kantorczyk; and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 10 until 11 a.m. Friday in the JOHN V. GRAZIANO FUNERAL HOME INC., 228 N. Second St., Jeannette, at which time a blessing service will take place with Father Paul Lisik officiating. Entombment will follow in the Greensburg Catholic Cemetery Mausoleum, Hempfield Township.
