Mr. Jackson was born at Troutdale, VA, to the late Charlie Privett and Clyde Mae Ross

Mr. Jackson is survived, by three sisters, Ellen Young of Newark, Delaware, Lessie M. Call of Troutdale, VA and Imogene Mattson of Millington, MD; one brother, Clarence Privett of Newark, Delaware and several nieces and nephews also survive

Funeral service will be held Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. in Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home Chapel, Independence, VA. Rev. Mike Porter will officiate. Interment in Ross Cemetery, Troutdale, VA. Military rites conducted at the gravesite by Grayson County VFW 7726 The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 P.M. until time for the service.
