Myron Edward Wittmann

Myron E. Wittmann, 80, Neenah, died on Tuesday, July 8, 2014, with his family by his side. He was born on April 29, 1934, son of Louis and Hazel (Wolf) Wittmann. Myron was united in marriage to Deloris Dordel on October 3, 1953, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Neenah, and they have been blessed with 60 years together. 

Myron is survived by his four children: Debbie Schneider, Becky (Jeff) Posselt, Tom (Roz) Wittmann, and Jim (Jim’s Deb) Wittmann; eleven grandchildren: Sara Schneider, Rev. Lydia (Rev. Beau) Nelson, Todd (girlfriend Nicki Salm) Posselt, Tony and Katie Posselt, Chad (Carrie) Wittmann, Micaela (Mike) Macdonald, Matthew (Johanna) Wittmann, Nicole (fiancé Andrew Ross) Wittmann, Kyle (fiancé Danielle Howe) Wittmann, and last but not least Desiree Wittmann; two great grandchildren: Hayden and Gavin Macdonald; a sister: Shirley Nettekoven; a sister-in-law: Judy Wittmann; many other relatives and friends.

Myron was preceded in death by his parents; a brother: Delmar Wittmann; and a brother-in-law: Alois Nettekoven.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 407 Oak St., Neenah, with Rev. Tony McKenzie officiating. Interment will be in Oak Hill Cemetery, Neenah. Visitation will be Thursday at the church from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service.  A memorial has been established in his name.

The family wishes to thank the nursing staff at Theda Clark Medical Center’s ICU and Cherry Meadows Hospice, especially Dr. Satish Achanti, for all their wonderful care.
