Sue Poth age 84 of Brown City died June 30, 2014. She was born January 20, 1930 in Hornsville, Missouri to Wayne and Belah Pearce. She graduated from Hornsville High School Class of 1948. Jossie Sue married Don Poth on March 31, 1961. Sue retired from the General Motors AC Plant in Flint in 1985 to be a homemaker. As a farmers wife she raised and fed calves on the family dairy farm. She was an avid bowler and at one time bowled twice a week. She is survived by 2 children Debbie (Dennis) Worvie, Ron (Wendy) Poth, Step-daughter Sherry (Eldon) Gilbert, 6 grandchildren David Barrett, Jennifer Worvie, Eli and Eric Poth, Neil and Scott Cronce, 1 great grandson Tanner Barrett and a sister Bonnie Credille. She was preceded in death by her husband Don and a brother Billy Wayne Pearce. A gathering and viewing will be Monday 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Carman Funeral Home in Brown City. The funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Carman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Heaven Sent Ministers in Marlette.
