Jennifer Lee Karliss, 44, died June 12, 2014, in her home in Bellevue, Washington. She was born November 3, 1969, in Miami, Florida to Gregory V. and Judith Lee Karliss. Her father was an actor who was in the original production of Hair. Her mother was a naturalist and lived an earthy lifestyle.
As a teen, Jennifer moved to Southern California, and lived there for 12 years. She then moved to Bellevue, Washington and resided there until the time of her death.
She loved animals of all kinds and studied at PIMA and later volunteered as a veterinarian assistant. Jennifer had a great appreciation of art and music. She enjoyed playing the guitar and spent some time as a dancer. In her love of art, she aspired to become a tattoo artist. Her other interests included reading and poetry. She wrote poetry and was published.
She was a multi-faceted person, who will be missed by her friends and remembered as a strong, kind and sincere woman, who knew her own mind.
