Obituary for Larry Lee Williamson

Larry Lee Williamson, 67, of Molus, passed from this life on Thursday, June 26, 2014. He was born July 29, 1946 to the late Walter and Ruth Williamson. Larry was employed with Harlan Auto and Equipment. He was involved with the coal mining industry for many years.

Larry was an avid sportsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing, and basketball… especially the Kentucky Wildcats. He was a loving husband and father, and enjoyed cooking for family and friends. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a brother, Darrel Williamson.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Marilyn Williamson, Molus; two sons, Larry Lee Williamson, Molus; and Dr. Clint McQueen and wife Rebecca, and grandson Gavin McQueen, of Cincinatti; daughter, Kimberly Le Williamson, of Florida; three brothers: Mike Williamson and wife Shirley, of Tennessee; Danny Williamson of Florida; Jim Williamson and wife Pat, of Tennessee; two sisters, Leah Caudill and husband Hank, of Lynch; Von Brewer and husband John, of Lynch; and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Visitation for Larry will be held from 12 – 2 pm Monday, June 30, at Harlan Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 pm Monday at the Harlan Funeral Home with Obie Clark officiating.

Interment will follow at Resthaven Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Josh Caldwell, John Slusher, Will Slusher, Britt Craig, Joel Lubrano and Jordan Calton. Honorary Pallbearers are Jack Brewer, Mac Phillips, Bill Lee, Harvey Napier, Buddy Cornett and Josh Shanks.
