Arlen B. “Art” Dunlop, 73, of Neenah, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Thursday, June 19, 2014. He was born in Oshkosh on February 3, 1941, son of the late Lloyd and Mildred (Hunter) Dunlop.
Art was a disc jockey for WRJQ in Appleton and WISS in Berlin, by the name of “Sonny Williams.” He also was a security guard for many years at the Bergstrom-Mahler Museum. He was a computer enthusiast and will be missed by all who knew him.
Art is survived by his loving wife, Gloria; siblings: Ruth (Robert) Barforth, Donna (Donald) Wokonsin and Robert Dunlop; brothers and sisters-in-law: Dorothy Wade, Joseph (Jen) Jungwirth, Cynthia (Dwight) Bruss, Steven (Kathy) Jungwirth, Suzanne Jungwirth, Rose (Tom) Allcox, Mary (Jim Hundt) Jungwirth, Debra (Mark) Wallintin and Ronald (Lawanda) Jungwirth; and many nieces, nephews and friends and his beloved dog, Perky.
Art was preceded in death by a brother and sister-in-law, James (Dianne) Jungwirth.
Memorial services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Friday, June 27, 2014, at the Kessler Funeral Home, 304 S. Commercial Street, Neenah, with Rev. Joseph Mattern officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in Art’s name.
