On Tuesday, June 17th, Bobby Albert Cosby, our dear beloved daddy, brother, and friend, lost his battle with cancer. Bobby was an inspiration to everyone that knew him. Bobby cherished all of the time he got to spend with his grandsons. They brought so much joy to his life. He was an avid Alabama fan. He was a member of the Vertagreen Masonic Lodge # 919 of Cherokee. He was an active lifelong member of Asphalt Rock Baptist Church where he served as deacon, youth leader, Sunday school teacher, cemetery committee and ran the van ministry.

He is survived by his son, Mark Albert Cosby (Mindy); daughter, Holly Nicole Cosby; grandsons, Mark Albert Cosby, Jr. and Matthew Dalton Cosby; wife of 21 years and lifelong friend and companion, Geneva Cosby Henderson; sisters, Karen Hunt (Dwight), Nancy Sumerel (Earl), Kathy Hendrix and Tammie Moore (Mike); uncle, Billy Cosby; Peyton Swinny, grandson by choice; special cousins, Bethany Owens and Ronnie Goss (brother in Christ); he was also survived by his loving canine friend, Zoey.
