Terry Allen Taylor

Somersworth – Terry Allen Taylor, 64, of Main Street died Saturday June 14, 2014 at the Wentworth Douglass Hospital.

He was born April 24, 1950 in Dover the son of the late Marcus and Theresa (St. Laurent) Taylor.

Terry was self-employed as a master mason and loved to blend his love of art with his work. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and received many medals including the purple heart for his service to his country during the Vietnam War. Terry loved the outdoors and was an avid fisherman. He also loved hunting, gardening, and playing horseshoes with friends. He was a very talented artist and musician and greatly enjoyed sharing his knowledge of art and music with his grandchildren. His favorite hobby was building models. He enjoyed spending his leisure time with his family, especially his grandchildren and friends. He will be greatly missed by family and friends alike.

Terry is survived by his wife Linda N. (Pohopek) Taylor of Somersworth; two step children Scott Dubois and his wife Angie of Berwick, Nicolle Hastey of Somersworth; two children Keith Taylor of South Carolina, Tracilee Barry of Maine; a sister Tracie Ann Taylor-Lupien and her husband Kevin of Wolfboro NH, Mark Taylor of Nashua NH; five grandchildren Christopher, Jeremy, and Amber Dubois, Kristen and Thomas Hastey, two great grandchildren Caylee and Isabelle Dubois, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A calling hour will be Thursday June 19, 2014 from 4 to 5 PM at the Tasker Funeral Home 621 Central Ave., Dover with a service to follow at 5 PM.
