Carol L. Angler, 70, of Zanesville, Ohio died Monday evening, June 9, 2014 in the emergency room of Genesis Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. Born February 7, 1944 in Zanesville she was a daughter of the late Lewis L. Harney and Gladys I. (Grimes) Harney of Dresden, Ohio. Carol retired in 2006 from the Lear Corporation of Zanesville and she was Christian by faith. She was a member of the Lear Corporation Retirees Club and she enjoyed cooking and working in her garden. Surviving is her significant other, Lee Finney of Zanesville; three sons, Rocky Angler of Jeffersonville, Indiana, Charles (Marlene) Angler of Zanesville and Tony (Diane) Angler of Roseville, Ohio; one daughter, Pamela (Ron) Jones of Washington Court House, Ohio; fourteen grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. Also surviving are three sisters, Mary Jane (Herb) Lewis of Zanesville, Lynn (Paul) Murphy of Frazeysburg, Ohio and Irene Harney of Dresden; three brothers, William (Pat) Harney of Zanesville, Donald (Katie) Harney of Dresden and David (Marnie) Harney of Dresden and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her father she was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Donovan; a sister, Deborah Larsen and two brothers, Marvin Harney and Michial Harney. Calling hours will be 11am to 1pm Friday, June 13, 2014 at the Dresden Chapel of Vensil & Chute Funeral Home, 714 Main Street. Funeral services will be at 1:00pm Friday, June 13, 2014 at the funeral home with Pastor Joseph Offenberger officiating. A dignified cremation will follow the service.
