Age 81, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014. Jerry was born in Lansing on July 7, 1932, the son of the late Leo and Birdie (Crowe) Feldpausch. He served his country with the U. S. Army during the Korean War and was a member of the VFW band and the Meridian Community band. Jerry was later a member of the Scottville Clown Band, playing the trombone. He retired from the U.S. Postal Service after 37 years of service. He and his late wife, Despina (Cris) enjoyed their dinner club nights with the "Diners Diversized" and were fans of the Fabulous Hubcaps, following them for years. Jerry was an active member in both the Eagles Lodge #1039 and Moose Lodge #288. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife of 56 years, Despina (Cris); parents; 2 brothers, Louis and Russell. Surviving are his children, Mark Feldpausch, Todd (Theresa) Feldpausch and Dana Fulmerhouser; grandchildren, Conner, Eric and Brooke. Funeral services will be held Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the Palmer, Bush and Jensen Family Funeral Homes, Delta Chapel with Pastor Don Denyes of South Church officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. For those wishing, memorial contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Jerry.
