Constance "Connie" Frost, 59, of Chatham passed away Thursday, May 29, 2014 at her home. She was born December 11, 1954 in Springfield to the late James Maxwell and Nancy Louise Werner Gill. She graduated from Southeast High School in 1972. Connie and Gary L. Frost married August 12, 1999. Connie retired from AT&T in 2009, after 36 years of service. Connie was known for her warm hospitality and selflessness. She touched more people's lives than she realized, and the memories of her life will live on forever. Connie will be greatly missed by her husband, Gary; daughters, Beverly (James) Quinn of Springfield, Jaclynn (Tony) Walker of Urbana, Valerie (Brian) Fox of Sidney, Nebraska; stepsons, Greg Frost of Taylorville, Jarrod (Tara) Frost of Glen Carbon, and Jeremy (Brandi) Frost of Edwardsville; grandchildren, Jamie (Sean) Diehl, Kayla Walker, Erin Quinn, TJ Walker; great grandchild, Reagan Diehl; sisters, Janet (Keith) Anderson of Orland Park, KS, Ellen (Walt) Kohls of Fresno, CA; uncle John Steward of Terre Haute, IN; several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends. Her family will greet friends and share memories from 2-5pm, Sunday, June 1, at Sangamon Prairie Reception Center 8855 State Route 4, Chatham. A celebration of Connie's life will follow at 5pm, Sunday, at Sangamon Prairie Reception Center, with Paula Staab Polk as funeral celebrant. Cremation rites will be accorded after services by Cremation Services of Central Illinois, Chatham. Placement of her urn will be at Camp Butler National Cemetery Columbarium.
