Aubrey Dean Wittwer

Wittwer, Aubrey D. "Bud" age 82, of Champlin. Bud was a U.S. Marine serving in the Korean War and was a recipient of the Purple Heart. He was a founding member of the Metro Marines. Preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Augusta Wittwer; brother, Alton; and an infant sister. Survived by loving wife of 61 years, Emily "Em"; son, Dean (June); daughter, Debbie Graham; grandchildren, Brandon (Amanda) Graham, Quinn (Kyle) Nacol and Tom Phelan; great-grandchildren, Logan, Kody, Kali and Jade; brothers, Melvin (LaVerne), Dennis and Warren (Mercein); nieces and nephews. Funeral service Thursday 11 AM at Mount Olive Lutheran Church, 700 Western St., Anoka. Interment Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids. Visitation 4-7 PM Wednesday (TODAY) at Thurston- Lindberg Funeral Home, 2005 Branch Ave., Anoka, and also one hour prior to service at the church.
