Luis Emiliano Aguilar, age 70, of Palau, Coahuila, Mexico, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2014 at his home surrounded by his family at the age of 70. He is preceded in death by his son, Sergio Aguilar. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Maria Del Carmen; sons, Luis Alberto (Sandra), Hector (Rosario); daughters, Carmen Veronica and Margarita (Hector); grandchildren, Sergio, Andrew, Jessica, Alex, Jasmine, Christopher, Ashley, Brandon, Genesis, and Luis Alexis; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Francisco; sisters, Maria Luisa (Lobo), Sylvia, and Argentina; numerous nephews and nieces; extended family and friends.
Luis was a truck driver and took a great deal of pride in his career choice. He was a very happy person, always smiling and never in a bad mood. His greatest joy was being with his 10 grandchildren whom he loved spoiling. Each one had their own special nickname. He loved traveling to Mexico to visit his family, and he will be dearly missed by everyone who knew him.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 5, 2014 beginning at 12:00 Noon to 9:00 P.M. with the recitation of the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. in the Hillcrest Funeral Home Chapel.
Procession will depart on Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at 8:30 A.M for a 9:00 A.M. Mass at Holy Family Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Wildflower Memorial Park Cemetery
